Samuel’s First Haircut!
Samuel just had his first haircut! He seemed to enjoy the feel of the clippers and with daddy and big brother helping hold him while momma cut and distracted him with a video, it ended up being a success!

When we were parents of just our oldest before the rest came along we took her to a children’s hair salon because we had a coupon. The hair dresser gave Miranda who was about three years old a lollipop to distract her while she cut her hair. She did a great job but it was still expensive even with a coupon. When more children came along we took them for their first cut because we thought “it was the thing to do”. After that we decided it was cheaper and more fun to have our friend cut their hair.
Jill, I was so busy answering your question about our children’s first haircut, I forgot to say that Israel was so cute at hugging you and same and saying “I’m sorry”. He can come give me a hug when I’m feeling blue. Sam seemed to do well with getting his hair cut. He’s so cute!

Thanks! We’ve been keeping busy with Derick starting school and then the boys caught a little sickness, so blogging went on the back burner. Working on some new posts now! 🙂 Thanks for the prayers! He is enjoying law school so far.
