Momos With Our Nepali Friends

When Derick lived in Nepal, he enjoyed momos (Nepali dumplings) on a regular basis. Usually you could get chicken, vegetable or buff (water buffalo) momos at any of the local restaurants. Here in Arkansas though, momos are hard to find. Our sweet Nepali friends invited us over for homemade momos not long ago and they were so good (Sam had 6!)!!! We always love the fellowship and it’s fun for Derick to practice his Nepali language skills too.
I’ve never had a Momo but they look good. they kind of look like a potsticker which I love
Those momos look good. I need to attempt to make them for my family.
Sorry for the odd question, but is Austin’s birthday today or tomorrow? Some sources say his birthday is December 11, others say December 12, and one even has it listed as December 13. Can you confirm his date of birth, please? Thanks! 🙂
You have a beautiful family. Those momo’s look amazing. Do you have a recipe you can share?
This is the first time I have been on this site. I am also a mother to two boys (16 and 11). Watching Israel feeding Sam the bananas reminds me of when my boys were younger.
They were SO delicious!! I didn’t get the recipe from my friends, but I’m sure there are recipes online that would be similar. I’ll have to do some research. I know they had to get some of their ingredients from the asian market here in our area.
