This lemonade reminds me of my childhood…when us kids (a couple of us at a time) would take turns hanging out with my dad at the county fair while he worked a booth. My favorite part was the food and drinks. š I would always look forward to the freshly squeezed lemonade and taco salads! We got a bunch of lemons the other day and the boys kept asking for lemonade so we finally made some and I couldn’t help but tell them about my memories at the fair. Hope you enjoy the lemonade as much as they did!

Thanks Jill! Can’t wait to make it this weekend š
How much stevia would you put in for substituting the sugar? It looks amazing I am gonna try this soon! Thanks for sharing love the blog!
Iām from the U.K. so the fayre and village fete food probably differs.
But my absolute favourite was always hot sugar doughnuts, sugar dummies (candy lollipops) or coffee cake with tea

Nice! Fun to hear about your favorites. š
We always had to stop and get funnel cake at the county fair! That and the sausage and pepper sandwiches. Super spicy, but so yummy!!
Yum! I love funnel cakes. š
I can honestly say I have never had a funnel cake, but my husband will be taking me to the county fair this year in the little missouri town we are moving to and he said he must get us one! Nope, I have never had one!
Lemonade brings back memories of my grandma and I making lemonade for me to take to grandpa who was working in the garden. I used to get so excited to take grandpa some refreshing lemonade.
Aww. So fun!
I loved foot long hotdogs, mini donuts in sugar, grape snow cones, yummmm! Hi sweet Jilly..I like seeing your vlogs when you post on Dillardfamilyofficial! Always best wishes to you and your husband and sons!
Aww. Thanks.
I love fresh lemonade. I used to make the recipe from The Little House cookbook when my girls were little. Funnel cakes are my favorite fair food. Now we have funnel cake kit that we use when we get a craving for funnel cakes.
I’ve heard of the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. When my youngest daughter had cancer at age 11, I saw one of their brochures at the oncologist office . What a legacy Alex left behind. I’m glad to see it’s still around and maybe our family could get involved with them again.
How much water is used? And how much sugar?
Hey Larae! That’s 3 Tablespoons sugar and about 24-30 ounces water (depends on how much ice you want to add). š
