Easy Ice Cream Cake

This 5-ingredient ice cream cake recipe is super easy to throw together in advance and you can even substitute some of the ingredients (i.e. butterfingers for another chocolate candy or cookie crumbles) to get your favorite combo! It’s sure to be a party favorite!

Makes one 9×13″ ice cream cake

Ingredients:

24 ice cream sandwiches

8 oz. Cool Whip

10 oz. chocolate syrup

10 oz. caramel syrup

2 King-size Butterfinger candy bars, chopped into crumbles

Directions: Unwrap and make a single layer of 12 ice cream sandwiches on bottom of 9×13″ pan. Spread half of Cool Whip on top of sandwiches. Drizzle half of chocolate & caramel syrups on top of Cool Whip, then sprinkle with half of Butterfinger crumbles. Repeat all of these same layers once more. Pop the cake in the freezer to freeze up a bit, then enjoy!

  1. I have eaten a version of this which I LOVE. Here it is: After placing the ice cream sandwiches in a pan, you chop malted milk balls to taste & mix them into the cool whip ,then spread it over the ice cream sandwiches & freeze. After the cool whip mixture is hard you drizzle it with Magic shell . Too yummy!
