Apple Crisp

Makes one 9×13″ pan or one large cast iron pan

Base layer:

10 granny smith apples, cored, peeled and sliced

Cinnamon (ground), enough to generously coat apples

2 t. lemon juice

Top layer:

1 C. white sugar (or brown sugar)

3/4 C. all-purpose flour

3/4 C. rolled oats (or quick oats)

1/2 C. butter (room temp.)

Directions: Core and slice (or cube) apples. Place apples and lemon juice in bowl and sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Stir. Place in 9×13″ casserole dish. In a separate bowl, add sugar, flour, oats and butter. Mix with fork until crumbly. Pour on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Enjoy by itself or with a side of vanilla ice cream!
