Dillards Take The Oregon Trail: Days 6 & 7

We road tripped from Arkansas to Oregon (less than 100 miles difference in distance than the actual, historic Oregon Trail)! It took us 3 days to get there (much better than the 4 months or so the pioneers had to endure)! Once in Oregon, we visited lots of friends and saw many places, from Portland to the Seaside & Newport coasts, including Astoria, Eugene and Bend! Then we made the 3 day trek back home, stopping on the way to see some of the actual wagon tracks left by those who took the original Oregon Trail many years ago!

This video captures days 6 & 7 of our trip. We stay with our friend’s Nawon and Cole, then go to church with them. After church, Jeremy & Audrey Roloff and their kiddos come over for lunch. That evening, we head into town to get the full Costco experience, including bringing home Costco pizza for dinner! The next morning we head south to stay with more friends in Albany, OR! The kids enjoy playing while the parents chat, but we aren’t there long when Samuel gets his first bee sting! We chillax that evening with a movie night while looking froward to birthday celebrations the next day!

More videos coming soon!

Sometime, please explain your personal meaning behind the sign hanging from your rear view mirror. If you’ve already done this, please reiterate, as I and others may have missed it. Thank you.
