Happy 5th Birthday Israel!
Our sweet, strong, and thoughtful Israel turned five years old today! Happy birthday buddy!
Although the current state with Coronavirus has changed our plans, we are counting our blessings and trying to make lemonade from lemons…
We decorated the house after the boys went to bed last night and they were so excited this morning! We did a special birthday breakfast and are planning a drive this afternoon to say hey to friends from our car before we make our way to Derick’s mom and stepdad’s for a simple celebration in their front yard (keeping our distance)! Who knows, it may turn into a bear hunt around their neighborhood looking for stuffed bears in neighbors windows 🤫
Israel has loved getting to spread out his birthday over several days since gifts have been coming in the mail from family during social distancing and is being a great sport about the non-traditional celebration. We’re so blessed to still be able to show him how special he is. We love you Israel 🤩!

Enjoying his new super soaker from Mima and Bawpaw (Derick’s mom and step-dad). He learned to blow bubbles this week! Presents from Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Slicing his apple with a fun new gadget from Mima. Opening gifts from Lolli and Pops (Jill’s parents) and Aunts and Uncles while practicing social distancing. The mound of treats Livingroom decorations Fun surprise bedroom doorway decor Takin’ brother on a ride around the yard…it’s sunny out. lol
Happy Birthday! Have a great day!!

Happy birthday Israel! Thank you for sharing the pics!
Happy birthday Israel!
Jill it certainly has been very different since COVID-19. We usually go to sunrise service at our local park but it’s cancelled. We usually have a friend over for Easter but we have a stay at home order so she won’t be able to be with us.
Shopping for groceries will certainly change especially at Walmart. I tried their grocery pickup for first time last week. It was actually very nice so I’m thinking with their recent changes it will be easier to just shop online and then pick them up. I don’t want to deal with cranky customers who are angry about waiting their turn to go inside the store.
Happy belated birthday Israel <3 im in Nova Scotia and we have currently been self isolating for 4 weeks and dont see it ending anytime soon
