We’ve moved!

We’ve been slowly transitioning to our new home in an effort to not add too much stress to the already long days with Derick heading into finals as he wraps up his 1L year at the University of Arkansas Law School. Thanks to our friend Gunner (& Brandon) helping us move the rest of our stuff, we finally have everything out of the old place and into the new! If you need help moving and you live in NW Arkansas, we highly recommend NWA Move Crew (look them up on FB)! We haven’t organized and unpacked everything yet, but look forward to making some headway in the weeks ahead! Here are some pics from our move and a few after settling in a bit. 🙂
So exciting! Enjoy your new home!
Yay!! I’m looking forward to seeing the sweet memories you’ll make in your new home! <3
Congratulations on your new home. I am Happy for your family.
Hi. Just a suggestion to temporarily cover your windows. Home Depot has temporary thick paper pleated shades. They come in boxes of 6 ( I think that’s how many) for about $10 (at least here in Southern Calif), you trim them to fit your windows.
Congratulations on your new home. I’ve been a Realtor for 30 years and it’s always exciting to see people move into their new homes, even more exciting is when they are new construction! You will build wonderful new memories going forward.
Oh! So good to know! Thanks for the info, Helene! 🙂
Congrats Dillard Family! We bought our first house almost three years ago. There is just something special about owning your own home. Enjoy!

I’m so excited for you!!! May God bless you home and neighbor hood!!!
Congratulations on the new home. God Bless you and your family.
I was wondering how come you do not appear on the Counting On show. Also, are you now done with South America?
Thanks Melissa. We aren’t filming full-time anymore (unless just in the background occasionally) because it got to be a little too much for us and our family was just headed in a different direction. 🙂 And no, we are not in Central America anymore, although we do hope to visit again sometime! We are currently living back in NW Arkansas while Derick is in law school.
Congratulations on the new house!
I was wondering if you and Derick would have any advice for us. We are needing to move as well for certain reasons and my husband may be getting a new job for a time. We feel called to be foreign missionaries and are wanting to move back to our hometown to raise support. We have 5 children 9,7,5,4,1 and the 6th on the way. I am just wondering if you have any advice for us, having been on the mission field yourselves. It is an especially daunting task with all of our little ones!
Thank you so much
