August 2018 Pictures and Videos
The month of August has been one of transition for our family as Derick graduated from the Cross Church School of Ministry and then started law school at the University of Arkansas soon after. Between graduation and school beginning, we tried to pack in several fun family activities and time together. We enjoyed seeing the show “Samson” on an afternoon trip to Branson, MO with Derick’s mom, had some of Jill’s siblings over for a movie night and s’mores, took the boys to their first baseball game, and enjoyed a family ice cream night the evening before Derick started law school.
Although life is busy, we are adjusting to our new routine and try to make the most of any time Derick isn’t studying or in class!
Hey guys would love to see long videos vlog style on your YouTube ! The boys are so cute much love from Ireland
Hello to our friend in Ireland!
Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂 We are still learning/trying to get better at all of this stuff.
p.s. Fun fact, we recently took DNA tests and I (Jill) am 33% Irish! Anyone else done those?
Looks like y’all had lots of fun times in August! Just out of curiosity, where are you guys living now? Are you staying in one of Mr. Jim Bob’s properties or are you renting/buying your own place?
Hey Becky,
No. We don’t. We are currently renting our own place. 🙂
I wish Joseph & Kendra would do monthly posts like this on their blog. They haven’t posted anything since Garrett was born… 🙁
Thank you Jill and Derick for the recap of August goings on. It’s fun looking at the pictures of everyone. While I wish Joe and Kendra would update their blog, I totally respect their privacy.
Thank you guys so much for sharing your photos and videos with us. Your family is so precious. I sure admire you guys for all you do . Thank you
Hi Jill and Derick, We saw the same production of Samson at Sight and Sound in Lancaster, PA. My boys really enjoyed the show! I have a very similar picture of my boys standing in front of the Samson statue on the lobby of the theatre.
Doreen, That’s awesome! We’ve seen several of the Sight and Sound productions and have loved them! They do such a great job!
