Homemade Whole Wheat Bread (Bosch)
This is one of the bread recipes my mom, sisters and I would make when I was growing up. Jinger kinda became the official bread baker in the family. We love our Bosch mixers, although I’m sure other mixers with dough hooks would work with this recipe too.
Makes 4 large loaves or 20-24 mini loaves
Ingredients:
6 C warm/hot water
2/3 C olive oil
2/3 C honey
2 T salt
17 C whole wheat flour (If grinding your own flour, grind 11 C wheat kernals)
2 T (rounded) dry yeast
Directions: Put all ingredients in mixer and mix for 8-10 minutes on medium-low setting (speed 2 on Bosch). Oil 4 bread pans (or 5 if you want medium loaves). Place even amounts of dough in each pan. Let rise in cold oven for 20-25 min. Turn oven on to 350 degrees. Bake about 20-25 min or until done.

Yummmmmm! Trying this very soon. Looks easy and simple.
Question, does the “T” stand for tablespoons or teaspoons?
“T” stands for Tablespoon and “t” for teaspoon. 🙂
You don’t have to do the yeast separate with water? You just add everything together in the mixer?
How long does a loaf of bread stay good for? I may have to cut this recipe in half! 🙂
