Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet Potato Fries

3 Sweet Potatoes

Olive Oil

Salt

Pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut sweet potatoes into short fries (I find if they’re too long they’re more apt to break). Put potatoes in medium/large mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir. Dump onto cookie sheet and bake in oven for 25-35 min.

Note: Sometimes I take the pan out halfway through and use a spatula to kinda mix them up on the cookie sheet so they don’t get overcooked on one side.

I’m not much of a cook, so these questions may sound silly. They’re regarding the recipe for the sweet potato fries.

I wanted to make fries out of the 4 sweet potatoes that I have on hand, will this change up the cooking time any? Will the oven still need to be set on 400°?

    Thanks!

Hey Samatha, Sorry it took me a little while to answer you back. As long as you bake them in a single layer on the pan (not all piled on top of each other real thick), then the oven temp and cooking time shouldn’t change even if you bake more potatoes. 🙂 Hope you’ve still got those potatoes!

These are also good with a sprinkle of cumin.
